Budge PR has been re-accredited as an Investor in People the national quality standard which sets levels of best practice for improving an organization's performance through its people.
At a special presentation ceremony earlier this year, Elizabeth Steel, administration manager, Budge PR received the maintaining the standard plaque from Liz Connelly, chief executive, Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire.
Explaining why Budge PR continue to maintain the standard, David Budge, managing director said: "I recognise the need for highly skilled and motivated people. We have used the IiP framework to help manage the development of the business, with particular reference to creating a continuous learning culture, which has enabled the business to develop more effective expansion strategies and improve working efficiencies.
Alistair Mcrae, the IIP assessor, found that the organisation's culture of participation and teamwork was evident throughout the assessment.
He said: "Budge PR places considerable emphasis on openness and informal communication. The effectiveness of this approach was clearly demonstrated and this has created closer team working and has benefited the organisation in general."
