Clark Contracts - Background Information
Clark Contracts was founded in 1978 by joiner Steve Clark who started out doing odd jobs for friends then began advertising for more work in post office windows. Since then, Clark Contracts has grown steadily to become a £40 million turnover company, with its head office in Paisley, near Glasgow Airport and an east coast office at Edinburgh Park.
Employing over 200 people, the company handles contracts up to £8m in value and works primarily in the public sector, retail & commercial construction industries. The company is split into several divisions including Construction East, Construction West, Fit Out, Small Works, Maintenance, Insurance and Cunningham Decorators.
Clark Contracts operates in a fast moving environment where adaptability and responsiveness are the order of the day. In recognition of changing market trends, the company has re-structured its former Construction division to create three new units, Construction West, Construction East and Fit Out. This recognises both the geographic spread and increasingly specialist requirements of its client base.
With the support of an in-house joinery manufacturing workshop, the new Fit Out Division focuses on projects of up to £500,000, transforming, building and creating new commercial fit outs for high profile customers such as the Weir Group Plc, University of Strathclyde, University of Glasgow and the Gala Coral Group.
Clark Contracts strives to deliver customer satisfaction that keeps customers coming back and that is reflected in the levels of repeat business which are consistently around 80%.
Key Personnel at Clark Contracts:
