David Budge, managing director, Budge PR offers over thirty years experience in public relations, including spells working in Australia, London and Scotland. David is a specialist in the development of communications strategies and the delivery of large scale communications programmes. He has worked primarily in B2B PR and marketing, specialising in urban regeneration programmes, enterprise support, corporate restructuring, property and construction and major infrastructure projects including, most recently, the £1 billion International Financial Services District in Glasgow.
He is also one of Scotland’s most experienced PR advisers in the renewable energy sector, having worked in on and offshore wind, wave, tidal, hydro, biomass, solar, hydrogen and airborne wind energy sectors.
David is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a former winner of the CIPR Sword of Excellence, awarded for work across the UK on the Shell Livewire scheme to encourage young entrepreneurs. Outside work, he volunteers with GCA, Scotland’s largest alcohol counselling agency and East Kilbride Youth Disability Sports Club. And, he’s still working on that unfinished first crime novel.
