The growing demand for bespoke joinery, such as that featured in the recent ACCA fit out contract in Glasgow, has led Clark Contracts to invest over £250,000 in re-locating and doubling the size of its workshop facilities, to create a brand new purpose built 10,000 sq ft centre opening in January, alongside the company’s head office in Paisley.

A dedicated team of up to twenty highly skilled setting and bench joiners will work there with traditional hardwoods, modern sheet and solid acrylic surface materials to create bespoke reception desks, bars, office furniture, wall and ceiling panels, shopfronts and architectural mouldings.

Gordon Cunningham, managing director, Clark Contracts said, “This is a significant investment in the future growth of the business, as the increased capacity allows us to not only take on more manufacturing work but also it allows us to continue to recruit additional people and develop our operatives through our Academy.”
