Innovation Digital, one of Glasgow’s leading Digital Marketing agencies was recently appointed to create a new website for Clyde Waterfront, the public sector partnership supporting the River Clyde’s revitalisation as a world class waterfront location.
Features of the new website at www.clydewaterfront.com include a project timeline for the unfolding progress of the Clyde Waterfront regeneration, a live Twitter feed to inform audiences of latest developments in real time and enhanced information on over 250 individual regeneration projects.
The site offers a fully searchable database where visitors can view more detail on the projects and also locate them on an interactive map.
To improve functionality, the new web site is built on the Open Source Content Management System solution, Umbraco 4.0. This allows Clyde Waterfront staff to easily manage the ever-changing status of development projects through planning, construction completion and occupancy.
The new site was developed following qualitative research and usability testing with core audiences. It replaces the original website developed in 2005 by Innovation Digital who, as Clyde Waterfront’s digital partner, provides a range of services including online marketing, web copywriting, training, user testing, design and web development.
